STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
Step 1
Initial Contact
Whether you call, text, or email, we’ll respond as quickly as possible to your request. We’ll get your pertinent information so we can schedule an appointment with one of our lighting designers. We’ll also have a few questions about your project and tell you a little about our company and the process moving forward.
Step 2
Consultation
The initial appointment lasts 45-60 minutes to understand your goals. This involves a thorough on-site property assessment considering your needs, budget, and desired outcomes. We’ll talk about your lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and concerns. We’ll show you examples of past projects we’ve completed so we know what kind of lights you like and dislike. This helps us understand what you’re imagining. We can often provide you a quick estimate, allowing you to schedule your project and resolve your lighting needs.
Step 3
Design & Planning
Building on our initial discussion, we’ll proceed to complete and special plan for you. We have 30+ years of experience in outdoor lighting, we think you’ll get the most useful plan for your property. We know you might like to do things in steps, so we’ll gather ideas that make sense to do now or later. While we don’t sell specific brands, our extensive product knowledge ensures we suggest the best combination of value, durability, and lifespan. We know everyone has a budget, so we’ll give you choices that cost different amounts and have different features. This is a lighting plan made just for you, so one plan doesn’t work for everyone.
Step 4
Client Approval & Project Scheduling
We’ll work together to create a design that you love. Once you’re happy, we’ll finalize the project scope, timeline, and costs. After your approval, we’ll get the materials and schedule your installation. We’ll keep you informed throughout the process to make it as smooth as possible.
Step 5
Professional Installation & Quality Control
It’s installation day! If you are home, you’ll meet the install team and be able to ask any questions before, during, and after the installation. Throughout the installation process, we maintain open communication with you and address any concerns promptly. Our skilled technicians perform the installation with precision and professionalism. We use high-quality materials and adhere to industry best practices. We strive to maintain a clean working environment and stay respectful to your existing landscape. We want to leave it looking better than how we found it.
Step 6
Final Inspection & Client Walkthrough
Upon completion of the installation, we conduct a thorough daytime final inspection to ensure that the system meets all agreed-upon specifications and operates flawlessly. We then provide you a walkthrough of the system, explaining its operation and answering any questions.
Step 7
Nighttime Reveal!
The best part of the project is that first night that you get to see the finished product! We’ll walk the property with you to make sure you’re pleased with the outcome. As lighting designers, we look at every project like it’s going on the cover of a magazine and we’ll try to dial-in every single detail to perfection. If the designer can not do it on the spot that evening, then our team will return the next day to make the necessary adjustments.
Step 8
Ongoing Support & Client Satisfaction
We strive to build long-term relationships with you. We offer ongoing support, including maintenance plan options, and we are always available to address any questions or concerns that may arise after the project is complete. We continuously seek feedback from you to improve our services and ensure your complete satisfaction.
